10 PPSU officers are dredging the water channel on Jalan Kebantenan III, RW 05, Semper Timur, Cilincing, North Jakarta.
Semper Timur Urban Village Head, Cahyo Hudoyo said PPSU officers are sent to demolish a manhole cover (inrit) and to dredge mud and garbage in the channel.
Kresek River Dredged"The channel is dredged up to 200 meters length with 60 centimeters width," he expressed, Monday (4/17).
Aside that, the channel is deepened up to 20 centimeters in order to accommodate water in large quantities.
"We hope it could be effective to overcome inundation," he hoped.
